easy lemon bread

I am also a huge fan of anything lemon flavored and one day I was craving something lemony. I decided to make this recipe into little loaves and see how it came out..I also had the thought that if I made smaller cakes I wouldnt eat it all at once and I could freeze them...Well, they do freeeze well, but that first batch never made it to the freezer.

Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package lemon cake mix
  • 1 package lemon instant pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk or more as needed

How To Make easy lemon bread

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together and pour into desired loaf pans.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 325 degrees for forty five minues, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Mix powdered sugar and milk together until you have a spreading consistenecy and top loaves, if desired.
  • Step 3
    The glaze on top of the loaves doesnt freeze very well.. so I would omit it or add to the loaves as you thaw them out or put some in a small container if you are giving the loaves as a gift.
