Ingredients For easy apple butter rolls

1frozen puff pastry (thawed per package directions)

1/3 ccaramel apple butter (or regular apple butter)

1 lgegg (optional)
- APPLE CIDER GLAZE:

1 cpowdered sugar

2 Tbsp+ 1 tsp apple cider
How To Make easy apple butter rolls

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.

2Unroll thawed pastry dough on a floured surface. Spread apple butter to edges of puff pastry. Starting at side closest to you, roll dough jelly roll style.

3If desired, add 1 tsp water to whisked egg to make an egg wash. Brush on rolled dough. Cut rolled dough into 1 inch slices (you should get about 10 slices) and place cut side down on prepared pan leaving about 2 inches between each slice.

4Bake in preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until dough is flaky and golden.

5Combine powdered sugar and apple cider in a small bowl; stirring until smooth. Drizzle on warm rolls.
