Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    8 count refrigerated crescent rolls
  • FILLING

  • 2/3 c
    finely chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4
    softened butter
  • CREAM CHEESE GLAZE

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    milk

How to Make Crescent Cinnamon Rolls

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all filling ingredients. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Separate the 2 cans of crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles each. Press perforations to seal. Spread filling mixture on 4 of the rectangles. To with remaining 4 rectangles. Cut each rectangle "sandwich" into 6 strips lengthwise. Twist each strip and form each one into a coil.
  3. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes or until golden. In meantime make glaze by mixing all ingredients together.
  4. Immediately remove rolls from cookie sheet and drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
