This is my Favorite Sweet Bread, it has alot of Taste & is more Natural & Easy to make!

Note: If you dust the Cranberries with Flour, they won't sink to the bottom of your Batter.

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1
    grated peel of an orange
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot water
  • 1 c
    fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 c
    coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Cranberry Orange Bread


  1. In a Large Bowl, combine Dry Ingredients.
    In another bowl, Beat Egg. Add Orange Juice, Peel,
    Melted Butter, & Hot Water
  2. Add to Flour Mixture, stirring just until Moistened.
    Gently Fold In Cranberries (Lightly Dust them First with Flour to prevent them from sinking, add Chopped Walnuts.
  3. Spoon into a Greased 9inch x 5inch x 3 inch Loaf Pan.
    Bake at 325F for 60 Minutesor until Toothpick inserted neat the Center comes out Clean.

    Cool for 10 Minutes before removing to a Wire Rack
