Everyone loves delicious cinnamon rolls. This recipe reminds me of baking on rainy days with my mom. Memories I will always cherish.

Ingredients

2 c
scalded milk
2 pkg
yeast in 1/4 cup warm water
1 c
sugar
2 medium
eggs beaten
1 c
mashed potatoes
6 c
flour
1 tsp
salt
2 stick
butter

How to Make Cinnamon Rolls

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place yeast in bowl with a pinch of sugar. Melt butter, milk, water, sugar until scalded.
  • 2Mix in mashed potatoes and let cool enough at mix with yeast. Mix with yeast and add eggs, flour, and salt. Let rise.
  • 3Roll out and douse with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon and then brown sugar. I usually use a long piece of string or thread to cut the batter into circles. I leave them about 2-3 inches thick. Bake on a cookie sheet flat side down. Bake 12-15 mins at 350.
