Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 orange, juice of
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup red sour pitted cherries
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
How To Make cherry pecan bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 325F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Step 2Combine dry ingredients.

Step 3Add enough water to orange juice to make 3/4 cup.

Step 4Combine juice, zest, oil, and egg. Add to dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 5Fold in cherries and pecans.

Step 6Pour batter into prepared pan.

Step 7Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a wooden skewer comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
