Deliciously moist quick bread. Not too sweet.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup carrot purée
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

How To Make carrot bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 360°F. Grease loaf pan.
  • Step 2
    Sift together dry ingredients. In separate bowl beat eggs, then stir in remaining wet ingredients. Combine with dry ingredients, taking care not to mix too much!
  • Step 3
    Bake 50 minutes, or until tester comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes on rack, then turn out of pan to cool completely.
