Ingredients

  • 3 - ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup international delight caramel macchiato creamer
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (plus a pinch or two for yumminess)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • CARAMEL GLAZE
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • 6 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How To Make caramel macchiato banana bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9”x 5” loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add coffee creamer, oil, eggs, sugar and coffee granules. Mix well.
  • Step 3
    In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add dry mixture to the banana mixture and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until it tests done with a toothpick. I start checking after 50 minutes. Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes then remove.
  • Step 5
    Now while loaf is cooling, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the brown sugar and vanilla. Stir. Keep stirring… and bring to a boil. Keep stirring and reduce to simmer for 3 minutes. Let cool it will thicken as it cools. If it is already thick just pour over the loaf now. Once the glaze has set ENJOY!
