Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make buttery caramel quicks

Step 1Preheat oven to 425°F.

Step 2In 9" square pan, melt butter.

Step 3Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar and water.

Step 4Set aside.

Step 5In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Step 6Add milk all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

Step 7Turn out onto well-floured surface.

Step 8Roll out to a 12" x 10" rectangle.

Step 9Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar, cinnamon & pecans.

Step 10Sprinkle over dough.

Step 11Roll up starting with 12" side.

Step 12Cut into 1" slices; place cut-side down in prepared pan.

Step 13Bake at 425°F for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown.

Step 14Turn out immediately and serve hot.
