1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspwater

2 cflour

1/4 csugar

1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt
-
2/3 cmilk
-
1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 cchopped pecans
How to Make Buttery Caramel Quicks
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In 9" square pan, melt butter.
- Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar and water.
- Set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add milk all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn out onto well-floured surface.
- Roll out to a 12" x 10" rectangle.
- Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar, cinnamon & pecans.
- Sprinkle over dough.
- Roll up starting with 12" side.
- Cut into 1" slices; place cut-side down in prepared pan.
- Bake at 425°F for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown.
- Turn out immediately and serve hot.
