bonny berry bread
This is a delicious dessert and so easy to make . I have no idea why its named this this way because its more a cobbler than a bread. I found this recipe in an old cook book from 1965. It was originally posted by a teacher named : Mrs. Edith Oliveira from Pahala , Hawaii. You can change the fruit pie filling to any flavor you wish . I've done it in strawberry filling and it was great . This is a net picture.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 can blueberry pie filling
How To Make bonny berry bread

Step 1Cream butter and sugar ; beat in egg. Blend in milk.

Step 2Sift together dry ingredients.

Step 3Add to creamed mixture.

Step 4Spread 1/2 the batter in a greased 8x8x2" pan.

Step 5Cover with 3/4 the fruit pie filling.

Step 6Spread with remaining batter , Top with remaining berries.

Step 7Bake @ 375° oven for 30-40 minutes.
