Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, unbeaten
- 3 large over-ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup pace* chunky salsa
- 1/4 cup dairy buttermilk
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make banana salsa bread

Step 1Heat oven to 350^. Spray bottom and corners of 9x5 loaf pan ,place wax paper in the pan and spray it too.

Step 2Cream butter and gradually add sugar creaming well. Add eggs, bananas, salsa and lemon juice. Add flour, soda and mix alternately with the milk and dry ingredients. Beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Blend well after each addition. Use low speed.

Step 3Pour batter into prepared pan.Place on bottom rack of oven. Bake for 1 hour checking after 50 minutes and test with toothpick.Cool on rack for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and remove wax paper. and cook completely- can brush top with honey mixed with lemon juice if desired.
