Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter, reduced-fat
  • 3 small ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped (optional)

How To Make banana peanut butter bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350°F, and grease and flour a 9"x5" loaf pan.
  • Step 2
    In mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil. Whisk until smooth. Stir in peanut butter and mashed bananas until creamy.
  • Step 3
    Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and chopped peanuts. Stir until smooth and blended.
  • Step 4
    Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for approximately 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Turn loaf out of the pan and cool on a wire rack.
