banana nut bread
I have always loved banana nut bread but I haven't had it since my Great-Grandmother passed away in 97. I found this recipe in a book my Grandmother gave me and just had to try it. I love it. After 14 years I finally have one of my favorite things again.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs beaten
- 3 - ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make banana nut bread

Step 1Beat oil and sugar together.

Step 2Add eggs and bananas and beat well.

Step 3Add sifted dry ingredients, milk, and vanilla. Mix well and stir in nuts.

Step 4Pour into greased and floured loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch). Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Cool well and store overnight before cutting.
