3/4 c
butter, melted
1 1/2 c
3 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/4 c
1 c
walnuts or pecans finely chopped
4or5 medium
bananas (ripe) you want the bananas to have dark skin

How to Make Banana Nut Bread


  • 1preheat oven 350* prepare two loaf pans with cooking spray, I like the cooking spray with flour in it for baking.
  • 2mix sugar, eggs, milk until well mixed- add ripe bananas add all dry ingredients mix well and add melted butter mix well then add nuts (you can make this without nuts)
  • 3bake for 45 to 50 minutes then check with a toothpick if clean your bread is done if not cook an additional 5 minutes and check again continue until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 4when cooled I wrap my bread in aluminum foil. I freeze one until needed and keep one loaf for friends & family to enjoy.
