my mom taught me this one when i was little and i have made it ever since.

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 to 3 - eggs
- 2 to 3 - ripe bananas
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup crushed walnuts
How To Make banana bread

Step 1In a large glass bowl, microwave a stick of butter about 1 minute to liquify it.

Step 2Add the sugar and stir with fork.

Step 3Add the eggs and mix thoroughly. (I use 3 eggs)

Step 4Add bananas (Ripe ones work better) and mush into the mixture. (I use 3 or 4 bananas)

Step 5After mixture is smooth, add Flour, Salt, Baking Soda and Baking Powder. Mix thoroughly.

Step 6Add crushed walnuts and add raisins.

Step 7Pour into one or two greased, (I use Pam), metal bread pans, depending on how thick you want the bread to be. (I use 2 pans usually)

Step 8Bake in oven at 350 degrees F. for an hour to hour and a half.... i go by smell and by if the knife i poke into the bread shows if there is uncooked batter inside or not.

Step 9Let cool for a little bit, cut up and enjoy!
