Easy and delicious! This recipe reminds me of my mom. She baked this all the time for us when we were kids. It's an oldie, but still a goodie!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chunky applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 - eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- TOPPING
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make applesauce bread

Step 1Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease your 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Step 2Combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs and milk.

Step 3In another bowl, combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.

Step 4Add the dry ingredients to the applesauce mixture. Beat well, then fold in walnuts.

Step 5Pour into prepared loaf pan.

Step 6Combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly on top of mixture in the loaf pan.

Step 7Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan, and cool completely on rack.
