- 3 cups plain flour
- 1/2 tsp teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 - egg slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons syrup
- 1 cup sour milk
- 2 tablespoons crisco
How To Make nana's scotch scones

Step 1Mix flour, salt, soda, baking powder together, add egg, syrup, sour milk & shortening. Roll out 1" thick cut in half then quarters. Put in ungreased griddle. Cook until done, turning as necessary even on the edges. wrap scones in clean dish towel.
