16 mini pizzas or 4 -16 inch pizzas
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 packages active dry yeast (2 tablespoons)
- 5 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups cool water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 or 3 tablespoons honey
How To Make honey pizza dough-homemade

Step 1Stir yeast into warm water until dissolved. Let stand. In a large bowl of mixer with paddle add flour, cool water, salt, oil and honey -stir in the yeast mixture.

Step 2Knead with dough hook for about 5 minutes, or by hand for 7 minutes. Place dough in a large greased bowl; cover with clean towel- allow to rise 30 minutes.

Step 3Punch down and divide into 16 pieces(for individual pizza) or (4 pieces for 16 inch pizzas). Coat each ball of dough in olive oil- wrap in plastic wrap or in freezer ziploc bags and freeze.

Step 4To Use: Remove from freezer the night before(8-12 hours) using. Allow to thaw in fridge. Let rise until double in size, then punch down and make pizza or pizzas. Very soft dough and freezes well!
