3 c
bread flour
1 c
old fashioned oats
2 Tbsp
melted butter
1 1/2 tsp
2 1/4 tsp
instant yeast or 1 packet active dry yeast
1 1/4 c
warm milk (105-115 degrees)

How to Make Homemade Oatmeal Bread


  • 1In a large mixing bowl of your electric mixer, add all ingredients, attach dough hook and turn it on. When ingredients are combined, let it knead for 5-6 minutes
  • 2place dough in a greased bowl and let rise for about an hour. It may not double, but will be puffy.
  • 3transfer to a greased surface and shape the loaf, place in loaf pan and let rise till about and inch above the pan
  • 4Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes
