Ingredients For homemade oatmeal bread

  • 3 c
    bread flour
  • 1 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp
    instant yeast or 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 c
    warm milk (105-115 degrees)

How To Make homemade oatmeal bread

    In a large mixing bowl of your electric mixer, add all ingredients, attach dough hook and turn it on. When ingredients are combined, let it knead for 5-6 minutes

    place dough in a greased bowl and let rise for about an hour. It may not double, but will be puffy.

    transfer to a greased surface and shape the loaf, place in loaf pan and let rise till about and inch above the pan

    Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes
