Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup hot milk
- 3/4 cup pureed or canned solid pumpkin
- 1 - beaten egg
- 5 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
How To Make golden hot rolls

Step 1combine yeast, 1 tsp sugar and water in a bowl, set aside

Step 2combine oats and milk in seperate bowl. stir, let cool

Step 3add all ingredients, except flour in a large bowl. stir well. add 1 cup of the flour. with electric mixer, mix well until smooth

Step 4by hand, stir in rest of flour. 1/2 cup at a time till all is used.

Step 5knead 5 minutes, I knead directly in bowl if it is large enough.

Step 6put in greased bowl, cover with tea towel and let rise 1 hour

Step 7punch down, grease baking pan with shortening, form into 12 balls

Step 8cover with tea towel and let rise another hour

Step 9bake 375 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.
