GARLIC LOVERS GARLIC BREAD by Rose Mary

The flavor in this bread you can smell throughout the house while it bakes. The edges of the bread Is crispy & crunchy, & the middle of the bread is soft & chewy. I made this recipe for a Family event in Arkansas & one of the guys remarked that he had never had garlic bread with that much flavor before, & later returned for the left overs. Said he thought he was in Italy.
1 largeloaf vienna bread, halved lengtwise
2 stickbutter or margarine softend room temperature
2 Tbspgarlic juice
1/3 cgrated parmesan or romano cheese
2 Tbspdried chopped chive, can use fresh
1/3 cgrated american cheese
How to Make GARLIC LOVERS GARLIC BREAD by Rose Mary
- Using a medium size bowl add in the softened butter, chopped chive, garlic juice and 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, stir to blend together. NOTE: The grated cheese absorbs the liquid which in turn blends more easily into the butter mixture.
