Ingredients

  • 1 - piece freezer rye bread
  • 5 slices crisp bacon, finely crumbled and cooked
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives

How To Make freezer bacon casserole bread

  • Step 1
    Thaw frozen dough as directed on Robin Hood Flour Freezer Yeast Dough site. Knead bacon and chives into dough until evenly distributed. Shape into a ball. Place in greased or sprayed 1 1/2 quart casserole. Brush dough lightly with olive oil. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Let rise in warm place for 1 hour or until doubled. Bake at 350^ for 45=50 minutes until done. Remove from casserole immediately. Cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf.
