On cool rainy days that tend to keep one inside the house, we love to back bread in our bread machine. This one is a favorite tried and true in my household. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

1 c
water - (70-80 degrees)
2 Tbsp
of butter or margerine, softened
1/3 c
finely chopped onion
1 tsp
sugar
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
paprika
3 c
bread flour (i usually use all purpose flour)
1 pkg
active dry yeast (1/4 oz)

How to Make Favorite Paprika Onion Bread (Machine)

Step-by-Step

  • 1In bread macine, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
  • 2Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available.
  • 3Bake according to bread machine directions. (Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed.)
  • 4Yields 1 loaf. (1 1/2 lbs.) Enjoy, this is one of my family's favorites.
