On cool rainy days that tend to keep one inside the house, we love to back bread in our bread machine. This one is a favorite tried and true in my household. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup water - (70-80 degrees)
- 2 tablespoons of butter or margerine, softened
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3 cups bread flour (i usually use all purpose flour)
- 1 package active dry yeast (1/4 oz)
How To Make favorite paprika onion bread (machine)

Step 1In bread macine, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.

Step 2Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available.

Step 3Bake according to bread machine directions. (Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed.)

Step 4Yields 1 loaf. (1 1/2 lbs.) Enjoy, this is one of my family's favorites.
