Ingredients

  • 6 cups flour
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 2 cups water, warm
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, mealted
  • 1 - egg

How To Make white yeast bread

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl mix one cup of the flour and all of the rest of the ingredients. Stire in the remainder of the flour. Cover and allow to rise about 4 hours.
  • Step 2
    Push down and kneed for a few minutes and form into loaves. Cover and allow to rise a second time about 2 hours.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Butter top and allow to cool on wire rack.
