- FOR 1 1/2 POUND (16 SLICES)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 teaspoons margarine, butter or olive oil
- 3 cups bread flour
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
- FOR 2 POUND (22 SLICES)
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons margarine, butter, or olive oil
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
How To Make white bread

Step 1Select the loaf size. Add the ingredients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions. Select the basic white bread cycle.

Step 2Note: The cookbook recommends 1/4 cup water for either size recipe.
