- 3/4 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup corn meal
- 1 - egg. lightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon butter, melted
How To Make wheat popovers

Step 1Preheat oven 400 to with popover pan on rack.

Step 2Sift flour and salt; beat egg very light and mix with milk; mix gradually with flour and add butter; beat 2 minutes.

Step 3Pour into hot greased popover cups or pans; bake 20-30 minutes. The mixture should be very cold and the pans very hot.
