Ingredients
- 1 cup hot steeped tea
- 1 cup raisins, currants, sultanas, etc.
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
How To Make tea bread

Step 1Mix the hot tea, fruit, and brown sugar in a bowl (don't forget to remove the teabag after its steeped to strong)

Step 2Leave this mixture to soak overnight.

Step 3Next morning, add egg, flour, and baking powder. Mix well. Put into greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.Test center for doneness. Slice and serve warm or cold with butter or jam.
