Ingredients

1 chot steeped tea
-
1 craisins, currants, sultanas, etc.

1 cbrown sugar

1egg
-
2 cflour
-
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Tea Bread
- Mix the hot tea, fruit, and brown sugar in a bowl (don't forget to remove the teabag after its steeped to strong)
- Leave this mixture to soak overnight.
- Next morning, add egg, flour, and baking powder. Mix well. Put into greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.Test center for doneness. Slice and serve warm or cold with butter or jam.
