- 1 cup sugar

- 1 can (15-oz) cream style corn
- 1 can (4-oz) green chile peppers, well drained
- 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup self rising yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
