    beaten eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    corn meal
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder

How to Make sweet corn bread

Step-by-Step

  1. combine all dry ingredients in a bowl ..combine eggs,oil,milk, vanilla add to dry ingredients - Stir until moistened.
  2. bake in a greased -preheated corn bread skillet -I use small scone shape while the skillet is hot I pour the batter .
  3. bake @ 375 for 20-25 mins. Serve with honey butter
  4. Honey Butter : 1/2 cup butter (soft) ,1/4 cup honey , 2 tsp. grated orange peel , 1/4 tesp. cinnamon . place butter in a bowl with electric mixer until fluffy slowly add honey to whipped butter until smooth - stir in cinnamon & orange peel .
