I love 'Stuffed Bread'!

My favorite type of recipe lies within--so many optionals..do it your way and enjoy, right? As for me, I don't leave anything out!! :)

Ingredients

1 pkg
pillsbury hot roll mix
1
egg (for roll mix)
1 large
onion, chopped
1/2 lb
sausage or ground beef, cooked
1/2 lb
mozzarella cheese, shredded
salt and pepper, to taste
1 c
raw spinach, shredded (optional)
1 c
mushrooms, sliced and cooked (optional)
romano or parmesan cheese (optional)

How to Make STUFFED BREAD

Step-by-Step

  • 1Make hot roll mix according to directions.

    (It is not necessary to let dough rise.)

    Roll dough into large 10x15 inch rectangle.
  • 2Roll dough into large 10x15 inch rectangle

    Sprinkle rest of desired ingredients on dough.
  • 3Roll up tightly, jelly roll fashion. Seal ends.

    Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if you like.
  • 4Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes until bubbly.

    Freezes well. Cut in slices before freezing. Heat in foil.
