Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon bacon drippings
How To Make skillet cornbread

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put your caast oil skillet in oven while preheating.

Step 2In a Bowl put your eggs and then add all your dry ingredients. Then add your oil and buttermilk, then mix well.

Step 3Then take your skillet out of oven and melt your bacon dripping in your skillet. Then add your cornbread mixture to your hot skillet and then place back in oven to bake at 400 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. then let bread cool for 10 minutes. then take out of skillet and slice up.
