This was one of Ma's recipes that we found in her recipe box in NC in July 2019. I am thinking pancake, since it is in a heavy skillet. However, with yeast, it could be skillet bread. Maybe even able to make into rolls?

How To Make skillet bread?, ma

1Scald 1 c milk, cool to luke warm. Add 3T butter, 1 egg, 2 T sugar, 1 1/2 t salt. Mix.

2Dissolve 1 pkg yeast in 1/2 c warm water. Add to milk mixture. Add 3 c flour, beat well. Add 1 1/2 c flour. Let rise 1 hour. Pat out and cook in dry heavy skillet 6 min on each side at low heat.
