Ingredients

  • 1 cup scalded, cool milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 2 large beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted, cool butter
  • 4 cups flour

How To Make sis jessie dinner rolls recipe

  • Step 1
    combine milk, sugar and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Let stand 1/2 hour. Add eggs, salt,, cooled butter and flour.(one cup at a time)
  • Step 2
    Mix well with a wooden spoon. Cover(with a clean dish towel) and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 2 hours).
  • Step 3
    Place on a floured board or kitchen counter. roll 1/2" thick, and cut with a round biscuit cutter. Lightly butter tops and fold in halfl.
  • Step 4
    Place in baking pan, slightly touching; let rise again for 1 hour. Bake 350 degree, for 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown then brush with melted butter again. Enjoy!!!!!
