Ingredients For shrimp & crawfish cornbread

  • 2 box
    jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 can
    cream corn
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    gouda cheese
  • 1 1/2
    mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 1 stick
    melted butter
  • 1 fl
    chicken stock
  • chopped bacon
  • 2 c
    medium raw shrimp
  • frozen crawfish (optional)-good handful
  • 1/2 c
    green onion

How To Make shrimp & crawfish cornbread

  • 1
    Pour cornbread mix in bowl with creamed corn, eggs, cheeses, & cajun seasoning. Add melted butter & chicken stock.

    Stir in bacon, shrimp, crawfish, & onion & mix well. Pour into a hot cast iron skillet with a little hot grease.

    Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Butter the top & serve.
