Shrimp Bread

I love this with either shrimp or crawfish. Easy to make, and serve.

2 c
medium shrimp or crawfish
loaf french bread or hoagie buns
1/2 stick
1/2 c
diced onions
1/2 c
diced celery
1/2 c
red bell pepper
1 tsp
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 c
1/3 c
mozzarella cheese
1/2 c
cheddar cheese
seafood seasoning to taste


1Slice bread in half lengthwise and scoop out the inside of the loaf. Set aside.
2In a large skillet, melt butter over medium–high heat. Sauté shrimp, onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic for 15 minutes.
3Blend in dry mustard and mayonnaise. Add cheeses and blend until melted.
4Spread mixture inside the bread, then put the halves back together. Butter the top of the bread.
5Then wrap in foil and bake on a BBQ pit or in the oven at 350* for 20 to 30 minutes. Then cut into serving pieces and serve hot.
