I love this with either shrimp or crawfish. Easy to make, and serve.

2 c
medium shrimp or crawfish
loaf french bread or hoagie buns
1/2 stick
1/2 c
diced onions
1/2 c
diced celery
1/2 c
red bell pepper
1 tsp
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 c
1/3 c
mozzarella cheese
1/2 c
cheddar cheese
seafood seasoning to taste

How to Make Shrimp Bread


  • 1Slice bread in half lengthwise and scoop out the inside of the loaf. Set aside.
  • 2In a large skillet, melt butter over medium–high heat. Sauté shrimp, onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic for 15 minutes.
  • 3Blend in dry mustard and mayonnaise. Add cheeses and blend until melted.
  • 4Spread mixture inside the bread, then put the halves back together. Butter the top of the bread.
  • 5Then wrap in foil and bake on a BBQ pit or in the oven at 350* for 20 to 30 minutes. Then cut into serving pieces and serve hot.
