This is a good recipe ,if you like thin, crisp bread. It is really good with fried sour kraut and soup beans aka pinto beans.

How to Make Sharon's Quick & Easy Cornbread


  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. In a 12in. iron skillet add oil.
  3. In a bowl mix meal,flour,oil from the skillet, buttermilk, and water. Pour into skillet.
  4. Bake until edges are brown approx. 15-20 min. then turn oven to broil until golden brown. Turn onto plate and cut into small squares.
