Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup pitted ripe olives, sliced
- 2 - 8 1/2 oz. pkg. corn muffin mix

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Cook sausage, onion, and pepper in a skllet until sausage is brown and crumbly. Stir in flour. Mix in next 4 ingredients. Remove from heat and stir in cheese and olives. Spread evenly in a 9 inch square pan, sprayed with vegetable spray. Prepare muffin mix according to package directions; spread over sausage. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand in pan 5 minutes; loosen edges. Invert onto plate. Serve immediately.
