  • 1 pkg
    pillsbury italian bread roll
  • 1 lb
    sausage roll, italian or sage
  • 1 pkg
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slice
    baby swiss cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 pinch
    cajun spice

How to Make Sausage Cheese Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease or spray a cookie sheet with sides.
    Roll out bread to a flat rectangle on cookie sheet.
  2. Cook sausage in separate pan, chopping into small pieces as it cooks.

    Spread 1/2 package of shredded cheese onto the bread dough long ways. Add cooked sausage on top. Sprinkle spices on top of sausage. Lay the 4 slices of swiss cheese on top of the sausage.
  3. Fold the bread over each side, making the seam on one side of the bread.

    Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

    Let sit for 5-10 minutes and cut into slices with a bread knife. Serve warm with a fork.
