Ingredients

  • 1 package pillsbury italian bread roll
  • 1 pound sausage roll, italian or sage
  • 1 package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices baby swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch cajun spice

How To Make sausage cheese bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray a cookie sheet with sides. Roll out bread to a flat rectangle on cookie sheet.
  • Step 2
    Cook sausage in separate pan, chopping into small pieces as it cooks. Spread 1/2 package of shredded cheese onto the bread dough long ways. Add cooked sausage on top. Sprinkle spices on top of sausage. Lay the 4 slices of swiss cheese on top of the sausage.
  • Step 3
    Fold the bread over each side, making the seam on one side of the bread. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let sit for 5-10 minutes and cut into slices with a bread knife. Serve warm with a fork.
