I love cornbread but my niece made this for Easter and it's the best cornbread I've ever had!

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes cornbread mix
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • - syrup

How To Make rhonda's cornbread

  • Step 1
    Mix first five ingredients
  • Step 2
    Bake according to package directions
  • Step 3
    As soon as it comes out of the oven, poke several holes with a fork over entire surface
  • Step 4
    Rub the 2 Tbsp of butter over top(the more you rub on the better)
  • Step 5
    Drizzle with syrup and spread across top( as much or little as you desire.
