Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 packages dry yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 6 1/2 cups flour, divided

Step 1Put in mixer bowl and stir until disolved: the water, yeast, and sugar

Step 2Add salt, eggs, and shortening and beat well with mixer.

Step 3Add 3 1/2 cups flour and beat well. Add 3 more cups of flour and stir with a spoon.

Step 4This must set at least overnight, but will keep for a week. bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 5This makes the basic dough for dinner rolls, but can be used for cinnamon rolls, etc.
