A friend gave me this quick recipe. I added poppy seeds to mine to make it a lemon poppy seed bread...very easy and tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    lemon cake mix
  • 1 box
    instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    oil
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    poppy seeds
  • 1/3 c
    walnuts, chopped

How to Make Quick Lemon Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool in pan for ten minutes and then remove to a rack to cool.
  3. let cool before cutting.
    Makes 2 loaves.
