- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup lukewarm buttermilk
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 2 1/2 cups flour
How To Make quick buttermilk rolls

Step 1In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. reserve half of the flour- mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl, then add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix, then add reserved flour and mix well, knead until a soft dough forms and kneads well. In a greased pan , separate dough into rolls or leave whole for a loaf. let rise in a warm place until double. Oven 400 degrees and bake i5 minutes.
