This is like a spice cake with pumpkin. Its worth the time to make the triangles. Is not too sweat and can be a breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 3/4 teaspoon clove, ground
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make pumpkin scones

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 400. In bowl mix flour,sugar,salt,al spices,bakingsoda and baking powder. Add butter and mix till mixture is course. In a bowl whisk egg vanilla and milk.
  • Step 2
    Stir into flour mixture to form dough. On floured surface knead dough a few time.
  • Step 3
    Form a rectangular shape,cut dough in half lengthwise then cut both halves into 4 equal triangles.
  • Step 4
    Grease cookie sheetand lay triangles on it. Bake 10-15 minutes until golden.
