When I make this bread I have to take some to my daughters job for all the workers they love it. This recipe makes 3 loaves of bread and it freezes good.

  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3 c
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2/3 c
  • 4 large
  • 1(15) oz
    can of pumpkin

How to Make Pumpkin Bread


  1. Stir together flour and remaining ingredients in a large bowl until smooth.Diviad batter evenly among 3 greased and floured 9-x5-inch loaf pans.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until a wooden toothpick inserted into center of each loaf comes out clean. Cool pans on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire rack
