This recipe was personally prepared by Vickie Crowe for the August 2015 meeting with the Curious Cuisiners. She did not state the prep time or number of servings, but I bet it serves a lot.

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup milk
- 1-1/8 cup oil
- 1-1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring (i used butternut flavoring)
- 1-1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2-1/4 cup sugar
- GLAZE
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond rxtract
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
How To Make poppy seed bread

Step 1Mix all bread ingredients (not glaze) with an electric mixer. Pour into greased bread pans (2 loaves) or one bundt pan.

Step 2Bake one hour at 350 degrees. Top will crack or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes - pour glaze over top. Put back in the oven until glaze bubbles.

Step 3Glaze - Mix all glaze ingredients together and pour over the tops of the breads.
