It has a distinctive taste and smell, especially when toasted.
That's the way I like it.
It is a no fail recipe.
As my husband would say "as long as the machine is working."

1 1/2 csauerkraut, canned, rinsed with warm waterand drained.
3/4 cwarm water
2 Tbspmolasses- room temp
1-1/2 Tbspbrown sugar
1-1/2 Tbspbutter- room temp
2 tspcaraway seed
1 crye flour
2 cbread flour
