Pizza Dough (Val's)

Super easy to make and everyone loves it. If you don't have a Kitchen Aid, you'll have to knead. I like the idea that you control the timing. If something causes delay, no problem. If you'd like a pizza, it can be ready in less time than a delivery!

3 c
all purpose flour
1 pkg
active dry yeast
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 tsp
1 Tbsp
white sugar
1 c
warm water (110 degrees)


1Proof yeast, water and salt, about 10 min.
2Add vegetable oil, flour and sugar.
3With dough hook on mixer,let it run about 5 min.
4When done, spread on pizza pan, sprinkled with cornmeal.
5Let rise at least 30 minutes. You can also let rise until a few hours later, it doesn't matter.
6Poke a few holes in the bottom and bake about 10 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven. Take out, add your toppings and bake 20-25 min.
