Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water 110 degrees
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- olive oil
How To Make perfect pizza dough

Step 1Place the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 2Place the yeast in a bowl and add 3 cups of flour, and mix by hand or with a stand mixer.

Step 3Add 2 more cups of flour and the salt, mix with a hook in a stand mixer for about 10 minutes.

Step 4Add more flour, 1 Tbsp at a time, if the dough is too sticky. If mixing by hand, knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes. The dough should pull away from the bowl and become smooth but still a little sticky.

Step 5Oil a large bowl. Roll the dough into a ball and add it to the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and set in a warm place, and let rise for about 1 1/2 hours.

Step 6Push down the dough and divide it into 4 balls.

Step 7Knead each ball for about 3 minutes each and place on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit another hour.

Step 8Roll the dough out and place on a pizza pan and add your toppings and bake. The unused dough can be frozen for a later time.
