2 cself-rising corn meal
3/4 cmilk or buttermilk
1/4 cvegetable oil
2 Tbspsugar or favorite artificial sweetner
1 cchopped green onion including the green stalk
3/4 cfavorite sour cream
How to Make Pat's Sour Cream & Green Onion Cornbread
- Preheat a 10 inch cast iron skillet and 1 stick of margarine in a 425 degree oven.
- Blend all ingredients with a wire whisk.
- Pour mixture into preheated skillet and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Invert onto a plate and slice. Serve hot.
