Ingredients

  • 1 box cornbread mix-jiffy
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup creamed corn (small can works)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make pat's cornbread

  • Step 1
    preheat to 350. Melt 1/4 (2 T) stick butter in 8x8 dish.
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients in bowl. Pour in buttered pan.
  • Step 3
    cook about 30-40 minutes, until brown and firm. Patsy butters the top when it comes out, but I try to refrain.:) Opt: add chopped chilis or japlenos
